Shaded by mature hardwoods, graced with Spanish moss
and tumbled, lichen-covered rocks, this tract is blessed with views
of both white-water rapids and serene upstream currents. In the winter,
lights from Columbia’s skyline can be seen through the trees to
the east. In the summer, a green canopy cloaks the opposite bank. The
view seen here is from Tract 8, looking across the river.
